Addonnx Legal India to open up legal market to UK lawyers and firms; BCI to notify amended rules by end of July The Bar Council of India (BCI) will most likely notify and implement amended regulations to govern the entry of foreign lawyers and foreign law firms by the end of July. For the time being, the Indian legal market will be opened only to lawyers and law firms in the United Kingdom (UK). BCI made this announcement at a meeting held with the Law Society and the Bar Council of England and Wales at the Law Society's Hall in London. The long-awaited move to liberalise the Indian legal market gained impetus in March last year, when the BCI notified the Bar Council of India Rules for Registration and Regulation of Foreign Lawyers and Foreign Law Firms in India, 2022. This was followed by a press release dated March 19, 2023, issued by the BCI stating that foreign law firms will be allowed to set up offices in India only to advise their foreign clients about foreign laws. Fundamental Duties linked with Aadhar (Recognizing and Awarding)

Image
When society grows every time they can't ask for rights, rights come with responsibilities.  The Addonnx Legal LLP team thinks that India would have a scoring system for citizens and those who are diligently following the fundamental duties given in Part IVA of the Indian Constitution.  If a scoring system linked to the Aadhar Card is made available and priority is given to law abiding citizens who are in any field implementing fundamental duties, they should be prioritised in  Public or private employment  Loans from banking institutions  School and college admissions  Issuing Passports  National and international flights, waterways, and railways Sports etc. When citizens realise and work towards their fundamental duties, they will form a healthy society for many generations to come.  FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES 51A. It shall be the duty of every citizen of India— (a) to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions,...

RIght to get Timely Service

Addonnx Legal LLP India is growing rapidly, and a few major reforms are needed, One of them is the "Right to get Timely Service'. With 145 crore Indians in the country, we, as average people, spend 1 hour in the bank due to the lack of efficiency of the bank. That needs to be addressed in reform. Supposingly, any person wants to repay a loan. He has to go to the bank,, pay interest and an extra payment on top of the principal amount, and waste about an hour. Online loan payment is not so easy as there are multiple restrictions. An average person works for 8 hours. If he loses 1 hour in the bank, which can be done online, it is a waste of time for the person, the country, and the Indian GDP. If these things were online, the Addonnx Legal LLP team thinks that we could save a lot of time, which would contribute to Indian growth and GDP. In short, quick and online based services will increase the growth rate of the country easily. Web: www.addonnxlegal.com Email: lawyer@addonnxl...
